Do not waste your expensive Ink for your Inkjet printer or toner for your Laser printer anymore !!! This printer uses inexpensive thermal self stick labels that get printed with heat. It never requires ink, toner or ribbons. It also saves you on paper or self stick shipping labels. There are ways to get the labels FREE as well.
FAQ:
Is the printer brand new?
No the printer is not brand new. It is a previously owned printer that has been refurbished with a 90 day warranty. It will show signs of use but it is warrantied to work or we will send you a free replacement. New printers cost $300 to $400.
Does the Printer work with Mac Computers?
No and Yes.
No the printer's driver is designed for Windows Computers Only. The new Mac computers that have MS Windows OS installed will work with the printer.
Yes only if you can use the Endicia shipping program for Mac. The program includes a Mac Driver that will work with the Zebra 2844. This particular program charges a monthly fee. The monthly fee is waived for large users. All the details about Endicia Shippping program and how it works are included in our Newsletter.
There is no Mac driver that we know of that works with the Zebra printers by themselves.
What is the difference between the LP-2844 and LP-2844-Z Printers?
The LP-2844-Z has more memory built in and a different processor 8 MB SDRAM (4 MB available to user); 4 MB Flash (2 MB available to user) versus 256 KB SRAM; 512 KB Flash
Does the memory or different processors make a difference?
We have been using our LP-2844 for three years with no problems at all. We are sure the LP-2844-Z have its advantages but for printing shipping labels, receipts and coupons the LP-2844 works perfectly.
Do you include the Printer's Driver CD?
We do not include the driver CD. There are three different sources for the driver. We include the address of the generic driver inside the printer box. The list of the different links for the driver are included in our Shipping Secrets Newsletter. You can download the generic driver or try the different driver to see which one works best for you.
What happens if the printer does not work with my computer?
Contact us either by phone or email. We will help you troubleshoot and if the printer is defective we will replace it free of charge. If the printer is not defective we and you wish to return it you only have to pay for return shipping. We will refund all your money.
